French Treats Knitting Workshop Holidays

We are now in our 11th year of knitting workshop holidays, which continue to be hugely popular. We regard Le Vieux Monastere as the premier destination in France for these kinds of holidays and were delighted that Fiona Morris returned again in June to teach the workshops.

Fiona covered a number of techniques including knitting Estonian lace, two colour Brioche, shadow/illusion knitting and Baltic braids.

Stella returned back with her “pop-up” yarn shop early in the week with a range of different quality yarns.

Great fun was had by all!

5th - 12th September - Knit and Relax with Fiona Morris

Fiona will be returning in September to host a more informal knitting holiday. She will be available in the mornings to assist one to one on individual projects, and demonstrate techniques covered in her June workshops. There will also be the opportunity to knit a square shawl from a pattern provided by Fiona.

The morning sessions will be complemented with visits to local places of interest, and plenty of time to just relax, and work on your own projects.

17th - 25th June 2018  French Treats

We are already under way with designing our 2018 programme. Subjects covered will be knitting with beads in lace, beautiful buttonholes, bias/diagonal knitting, and the construction of a Gansey garment. Stella will be back with her pop up yarn shop and of course there will be trips out to local places of interest.

So put the dates in the diary. Further information will be published later in the summer, but drop us an email to pre-register.
